About Gagneja Health

Dr. Gagneja practices traditional internal medicine with a holistic approach in Santa Barbara, California. Internal Medicine entails the practice of prevention, analysis and treatment of medical ailments. Within her practice, she has a unique relationship with her patients, focusing on their "whole health" by looking closely at all aspects that influence their state of health. She builds mutual trust with her patients, so they can attend to their health care needs and wellness goals together.

Priti Gagneja
Priti Gagneja, MD, FACP

Dr. Gagneja, born and raised in Los Angeles, California, earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2003 from Rajiv Gandhi University and her MD degree from the California Medical Board. She then completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital where she was Chief Resident. Since 2007, Dr. Gagneja has been Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and she was elected to the Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 2022.

 

Dr. Gagneja has been practicing Primary Care where she resides in Santa Barbara for 19 years. She is active within her community. Dr. Gagneja serves as the past president and as a director of the Central Coast Medical Society. She is a Delegate to the California Medical Association where policy and legislation is made to better serve physicians and patients. She also serves as a volunteer physician to Doctors Without Walls and volunteer board member for The Breast Care Resource Center. She lives with her husband and three children.

Evelina Tovar

Evelina was born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA. She has extensive experience in direct patient care including scheduling appointments, managing referrals & authorizations, and providing Spanish interpreting services as a qualified Healthcare Interpreter. She will also be the practice's Licensed Phlebotomist. Aside from work,  she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their family dog. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, watching documentaries, cooking new recipes. She will be serving as the patient's first point of contact and make their patient experience smooth and seamless.

Angela Clemens

Angela was born and raised in Sidney, IL. After living in Indianapolis, IN for 8 years she followed her love to beautiful Santa Barbara in 2004. She attended SBCC's Licensed Vocational Nursing program, graduating in 2011. After taking a break to welcome her son Logan, she began working as a private duty nurse. During her eight years with a home health agency, she was honored with two awards for her excellent patient care. She began working at a multi specialty clinic in the department of Internal Medicine. At Gagneja Health, she will continue to provide nursing care and expertise during set office hours.  Outside of nursing, Angela enjoys camping and beach days with her family. She can often be found on the weekends at her son's sporting events or spending time with her neighbors by the community pool.
